Location of Sri Narayani Peedam and Sripuram The Sri Narayani Peedam and the Sripuram are located in Malaikodi, a small village about 8 kilometres outside the town of Vellore, and about 145 kilometres from Chennai in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. They are surrounded by mountains and lush, scenic beauty. It has a typically warm climate; from February to July it is hot and the temperature ranges between 35 – 45 degrees Celsius. The monsoon (rains) comes in from July to October and the temperature ranges between 28 – 35 degrees Celsius. It is cooler from October to January when the temperature ranges between 22 – 28 degrees Celsius.

How to get to Sri Narayani Peedam Peedam and Sripuram From Outside India: Sri Narayani Peedam and Sripuram addresses are the same since they are located in close proximity to each other.
Ground travel arrangements to Peedam can be made by emailing in
advance to the appropriate contact mentioned above; all you need
to do is arrange for your flight to the Chennai Airport. The contact
will arrange with the administration at the Sri Narayani Peedam or the Sripuram for travellers to
be picked up at the Chennai Airport and transported to the Sri Narayani Peedam or the Sripuram.
It takes about 3 hours to get to Peedam and the Sripuram.
From Within India: By train: Take the train to Katpadi which is the nearest station to the Peedam or Sripuram. From the station take a bus or car to Sri Narayani Peedam or Sripuram via the town of Vellore in the direction of Usoor. By car: Drive to the town of Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Head north - 0.2 km;
Turn left toward Thennamara St - 85 m; Continue straight onto Thennamara St - 0.4 km; Turn left at SH 9 - 46 m; Turn right at Officer's Line - 7.3 km
and you will arrive at the Sri Puram Golden Temple and Sri Narayani Peedam, Vellore District.

This Guest House is about ten minutes walk from the Peedam or a five minutes walk from the Sripuram. The costs for accommodation are as follows:
Dhoti or Kurta Pyjamas for men, Salwar suits or Sarees for women,
children can wear anything that is comfortable but modest.
