Children's Heart Surgery Program

Discovering that a child has a defective heart and requires heart surgery is a formidable problem for the poor, as the cost of surgery is overwhelming. For people existing on a minimum income, finding money to pay the doctors and hospital fees is impossible. To assist these families, Amma established the Children's Heart Surgery Program.

 
 

 

This program pays for the surgeries which are performed at the Children’s Hospital in Vellore. It is literally a life-saving program. Dozens of children, from infants to teenagers, are alive today, thanks to Amma’s compassion and generosity in helping provide funds for their surgeries. Amma's Grace and your unconditional love and support have illuminated the journey of life for these children with Hope and Joy".
