Sri Chakra Puja
In Kaliyuga, when there is chaos & injustice,
God incarnates into human form to guide mankind on the righteous
path. True to this tradition, Sri Sakthi Amma at Thirumalaikodi
descended as the incarnation of Goddess Sri Narayani to lead mankind
on the spiritual path. Amma conducts daily pujas and has initiated
several projects over the years that offer service to mankind.
The Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School was founded by Sri Sakthi Amma
for giving quality education to the rural and less privileged children.
The Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre was founded for
rendering health care services to the needy.
There are other projects such as the Narayani Seva (Food Donation),
Jyothi Swaroopini (Revival of Heritage & Culture), Arogya (Basic
Health Services), Mathru Ganga (Water Distribution), Kalyani (Weddings),
Punar Janma (Gifts for a new Lease on Life) and other Dhanams (Donation
Programs) that thousands of devotees benefit from throughout the
On top of all of this, there is a Spiritual Park with a Golden
Temple for Goddess Mahalakshmi being constructed at Sripuram in
Thirumalaikodi. This project is one with a noble cause. The objective
is to inculcate Bhakthi and to help everyone realize the purpose
of their existence and live happily and harmoniously.
Usually, when a temple is built, a brass or gold plate is placed
at the Holy place (Yanthira Prathishtai) under the idol of the God/Goddess.
The mantras of the particular God/Goddess is engraved on the plate
and is fixed under the idol while the mantras are chanted more than
a hundred thousand times. It is said that the Divine power of God
from the plate emanates through the idol and bestows goodness to
all living beings.
Sri Sakthi Amma has given shape to the Swarna Chakra plate (Sri
Chakra – Cosmic Monogram) for the first time in order to make
it powerful by chanting the Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam (1000 names
of Sri Ambal) during the yagam for over the period of 108 days starting
April 5th, 2006 before it is placed under the idol of Sri Mahalakshmi.
For the yagams, a Yaga Pond has been constructed measuring
6’x 6’ in the shape of lotus. Eleven well known and
learned clergymen (Veda Pandithar) will be conducting the yagam
starting at 7.00 am to 1.00 pm every day during the 108 days. Special
pujas will also be offered from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. One hundred
and eight kinds of specially blessed items like milk, honey, flowers,
ghee, kumkum, savouries, etc. will be offered in the yagam.
