The authorities put in a request to Amma for assistance with this
task as they were very concerned with the short time frame in which
they had to get this done. Amma suggested that the helipads can
be built within close proximity to the Sripuram boundary wall, and
the location was then approved for the construction.
The construction work on the Helipads was completed in a record
time of just nine days much to the surprise of the authorities.
Two days before the Presidents arrival the authorities scheduled
and completed a test run of the helipads. The presidential pilots
later on landing were very appreciative of the location and quality
of the helipads.
