Many people cannot afford the marriage
expenses and in some cases many young people remain
single. Amma says that the stream of life must
continue to flow. With this is mind, Amma conducts
mass marriages, taking care of all the arrangements,
financial and otherwise, in order that the young
couples can be married without the financial burden.
Amma also provides each couple a set
of the basic essentials, pots, pans, mats, pillows, umbrella and
some cash in order for them to take the next step in setting up
a home for themselves.
