Sri Narayani College of Nursing was established in 2006 as an educational platform for women from low economic backgrounds. The college offers bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as diploma courses in midwifery. Sri Narayani College of Nursing is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

 

It has been approved by statutory bodies like the Indian Nursing Council, the Government of Tamil Nadu as well as the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.​

LIBRARY
The library of the SNCON is well organized with an adequate and good collections of books. It has a well furnished reading hall and provided with more than 5000 books, 15 Indian Journals, 5 international Journals, 6 Magazines and 4 Newspapers. The library is open from 8.00am – 8.00pm in all working days. There are computers with facility to access e-consortium digital library.
