Sri Sakthi Amma has initiated educational programs that provide local children with life-changing opportunities for their future. Sri Narayani Vidyalaya, an English medium school, renders quality holistic education, currently over 1000 rural children from KG to Grade 12. It is a growing institution with over 50 full-time qualified teachers and trained staff for teaching academics and spirituality, with an emphasis on moral values and culture, nurturing them to evolve and lead righteous, prosperous, and harmonious lives. Our Story

SMART CLASSROOMS
A SMART Board is a brand of interactive whiteboard. It allows teachers and students to control the computer through touching the screen. … The SMARTNotebook software allows teachers and students to easily create interactive lessons.

In Our School we have Smart Board in most of the Class rooms. An interactive whiteboard or interactive device is exactly the same thing. It is simply a giant mouse that allows you to control your computer using a large image projected from the front of the classroom. … This means that whatever you would normally run from your computer can work with the interactive whiteboard.

The benefits of using interactive whiteboards in a classroom:

  • Improved Learning. While some students are auditory learners, absorbing information efficiently through the spoken word, others are visual learners

  • Increased Participation

  • Enhanced Collaboration.


LABS
The school comprises separate Labs for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer science.

They are spacious ventilated and all the upgraded equipment to handle current state board higher secondary latest syllabus. At a time 30 students can perform (exams) different experiments and nearly 45 students can be accommodated inside easily. It is supported by technology to enhance students understanding.

LIBRARY
This library has a total volume of 7000 books and 12 magazines to cater to the needs of the students and staff. This library follows an open access system and books can be borrowed according to the schedule however any class can borrow after 3.50 P.M. till 5.15 P.M. This library extends its service not only to quench the thirst of the budding readers but also to develop the various hidden talents of the voracious readers.

INDOOR GAMES
Three courts for shuttle cork and Table tennis are functioning in the school premises and effective coaching is given to the promising young players to excel in State and National Level Tournaments.

YOGA
Group Meditation

  • Classes from I to XII Practicing Yoga weekly once 40 minutes

  • Every Friday during ECA we are having Advanced Yoga session

  • Students have actively participated in different State and National competition and achieved Lorrals to the school

  • Teachers, Drivers and Conductors also are trained in yoga and they practice weekly once in school

  • Tuesday’s and Friday’s we have special group meditation after assembly
